Crockwell Farm Blush Wedding

Crockwell Farm wedding venue is nestled in the Northamptonshire countryside and is a firm favourite of ours. The venue consists of the original 17th century vaulted ceremony barn, gorgeous starlit marquee, extensive gardens and grounds, beautiful accommodation and bridal prep room.

Bay, Hermione, Amy and Joe are the current custodians of Crockwell Farm and have been hosting weddings with their incredible experienced team (and residents labradors Ted and Sholto) since 2002. It’s rare to find a family owned wedding venue that cares so deeply about the experience each wedding, couple and supplier has during their time at a venue like they do at Crockwell Farm.

This real wedding blog shares with you the beautiful Chloe and Regan’s Crockwell Farm blush wedding during the spring season. Their wedding flower journey started when they spotted us on the Crockwell Farm recommended suppliers list. We had our initial meeting via Zoom and discussed possible themes and styles for their wedding flowers. Enjoy!

Chloe’s Spring Blush Bouquet: A timeless, elegant hand tied bouquet created with blush roses, feminine spray roses, seasonal spring syringa and ranunculus, lisianthus, astilbe and mixed eucalyptus foliage. Chloe’s bouquet for her Crockwell Farm wedding was a dream to create, I loved the balance between the strong groupings of roses, the nod to the season with touches of spring florals and the classic eucalyptus greenery. It worked beautifully with the gorgeous details of delicate lace in her dress.

Initial Brief:

Pretty, feminine, large blouse florals in a sand, blush, sage and white colour palette. Chloe loved the subtle hues of the luxury garden style wedding roses ‘Quicksand’ and ‘Westminster Abbey’.

TOP TIP: The key to getting the look you desire and being mindful of your wedding flower budget is in using the high end luxury roses only in key items such as bridal bouquet wedding party/table plan etc. Then substituting for other blooms in larger scale design that will have better impact and keep within your chosen colour palette.
