floral questions
How much do wedding flowers cost?
Wedding flower costs vary depending on your floral vision, the size of your wedding, and the level of service required. My tiered collections give a guide to investment:
- Essence Collection (£1,250+) – Covers the essential florals, including bridal bouquets, buttonholes, and simple ceremony arrangements
- Signature Collection (£2,250+) – A fully bespoke floral experience, including ceremony and reception flowers, personal styling, and a curated design approach
- Exquisite Collection (£5,500+) – Large-scale floral artistry with immersive styling, venue transformations, and impactful floral installations
Prices vary between florists based on flower quality, supplier selection, service level, and bespoke design elements. For a more in-depth guide, take a look at my blog: How to Budget for Wedding Flowers.
What are your payment terms?
To secure your wedding date, a £75 non-refundable booking fee is required. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding day.
- Flexible payment plans are available for couples who prefer to spread the cost (service charge applies)
- Payments are invoiced and made via bank transfer
- Cancellations & refunds – All terms are outlined in my T&Cs
Are there any venue restrictions I should be aware of?
Each venue has its own guidelines and limitations, which I carefully navigate during the planning process.
- Candle restrictions? Many venues don’t allow open flames, but I offer beautiful LED taper candles for the same romantic glow
- Limited setup time? My team ensures a seamless and efficient installation so your florals are styled to perfection, no matter the time constraints
- Hanging installations? Some venues have restrictions on floral suspensions, but I will liaise directly with your coordinator to confirm what’s possible
How do you ensure sustainability in your business?
Sustainability is at the heart of Hibiscus Floral Design. I am committed to reducing waste, supporting ethical practices, and making eco-conscious choices throughout my work.
- Locally sourced flowers – I prioritise British-grown blooms whenever possible, reducing transportation emissions and supporting local growers
- Eco-friendly mechanics – No floral foam, minimal plastic, and reusable materials like Agra Wool
- Waste reduction – All cardboard and flower boxes are recycled or returned to suppliers. I also compost organic waste
- Ethical sourcing – I partner with sustainable farms that minimise pesticide use and promote biodiversity
- Energy efficiency – I plan low-mileage delivery routes to reduce fuel emissions
- Fairtrade practices – I support growers and suppliers who provide fair wages and ethical working conditions
- Education and awareness – As a Sustainable Wedding Alliance member, I advocate for eco-conscious floristry and guide my couples towards sustainable choices

Preserve Your Bridal Bouquet
Many couples choose to preserve their bridal bouquet as a cherished keepsake. If this is something you’re considering, I recommend planning ahead and exploring your options before the wedding day to ensure the best results.
Throughout your wedding flower journey with me, I’ll be sharing links to some of my favourite flower preservation artists — from traditional methods to more unique and creative approaches — all carefully selected for their beautiful craftsmanship and distinctive styles. Whether you’re dreaming of a classic pressed frame or something a little more unusual, there’s a meaningful way to preserve those special blooms for years to come.
